When we met Marc & Miranda for the first time, it looked like it was still fall in Maine, but it felt like we were in the middle of winter. At least it did to me! There was a real icy chill blowing off the water on the Rockland Breakwater where we met for their Maine Engagement Session. The layers stayed on as we all huddled together on the breakwater and smiled through the chill. Despite the chill, Brandi even managed to coax a few genuine smiles out of Marc. Whenever someone says that they have challenges smiling in photos Brandi takes that on as a personal challenge to get them to smile. She has almost a 100% success rate! Marc & Miranda were real troopers braving the cold with us, but we opted for a secondary location – one of our favorites, downtown Rockland.
There is always so much to see and do downtown that we knew it would provide a great background for some engagement photos. The summer tourist population had died down a little bit and we pretty much had our pick of locations to use as a backdrop. We found one that we are pretty sure you are going to see a lot in photos – it was a giant mural that was sponsored by the museum in town. It was wonderful! We couldn’t resist some great photos in front of that colorful wall.
We’re so glad that you both spent a very chilly morning with us in Rockland. It was so great to meet you both and we can’t wait for your June 2016 wedding!
